If you are thinking about traveling with your pet, you need to make sure that you can get your dog from place to place safely. This could involve anything from a drive in the car to a ride on the plane. With this in mind, a travel kennel is an excellent option for keeping your dog safe and secure during any sort of travel. At the same time, you need to get a travel crate choice that has lots of space and ventilation. There are a few options that you can decide on to make sure your dog is relaxed during the journey.
Plastic Portable Dog Carriers:
One of the most popular choices is a plastic, portable dog carrier. This is a good option for dogs that are small to medium-sized. These are normally made of thick plastic. They have a carrying handle on top along with a front-facing, turning door. This is beneficial for dogs who are on the go with their human partners on a frequent basis. Because these crates are both portable and sturdy, they are excellent for cars and planes.
A Folding Wire Dog Crate
In the eyes of many, this is the standard-bearer concerning dog kennels. Most wire crates are able to fold up, making them very easy to move around from the house to the car. They come in all dimensions, enabling you to tailor the size of the crate to satisfy the needs of your dog. They are also easy to wash. Adding a pillow or a comforter will make them even more cozy.
A Dog Crate with Soft Sides
It is essential to note that this option isn't good for every dog. They are made from nylon or canvas, meaning that your dog might end up damaging them if they like to scratch or chew. This also isn't best for dogs that aren't trained to use crates. On the other hand, dogs that are crate trained often find them more calming and comfy than the alternatives.
These are a few of the most popular options when it comes to travel crates for your pup. Took my doodle puppy in for her first grooming with Veronica and it went great! My dog left happy and I love the haircut!
My dogs are not completely introverted but they take time to trust others, especially groomers. But Vincent is one of the best groomers I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. Even though it was a simple nail clipping, my furry babies were completely comfortable with him. You can tell he cares for the animals and the cherry on top was seeing my baby boy with a cute collar Vincent put on him. I highly recommend this place.
The groomer is great… My dog loved him!!
Excellent care for our GoldenDoodle and did a FANTASTIC job! We’ve been taking him here since he was a baby and will recommend Vincent all day.
I came in with a 7 month old German Shepherd who was so scarred she didn’t want to leave between my legs.. Vincent came out and introduced himself and was so great she immediately warmed up to him and I was comfortable enough to leave her in his care. When I picked her up she was happy as could be! Full bath and nails trimmed. Before we walked out the door she ran back to him and acted like they were best friends! Highly recommend and will definitely go back to him!
