Support Our Local Pet Shop with Your Purchase of Catnip Toys for Cats
Cats are fascinated with toys. If you were to close your eyes and reflect on your happiest memories with your cat, chances are that the images that come to mind are your cat(s) playing. Hunting, attacking, overpowering, and hitting toys around gives cats and their people tons of joy - so why do cats so often ignore the toys we bring home for them?
There is one very practical rule to remember when buying toys for cats: cats want a variety of toys. They like an assortment of interactive cat toys that use each of their hunting skills. If you have enough toys, you can rotate your cat's choices so they can hunt for a favorite toy. Just don't hide a favorite toy away permanently. Make sure your cats have opportunities to use all of their toys frequently.
What are the kinds of cat toys? Here are just a few:
Balls and chasers entice your cat to chase with feathers, fun noises, and peculiar shapes.
Chew toys are a great choice for cats that love to chew. They also help to keep your cat's breath fresh and their teeth clean.
Interactive and electronic toys bring out the best in your cat's hunting abilities.
Plush and mice toys eventually become cherished toys that can soothe and ease your cat when it's time to go into the carrier.
Scratcher posts and mats are a must for all ages of cats, from kittens to older cats.
Teasers and wands are wonderful toys for sharing playtime with your cat.
Tunnels become the hiding places where you can quickly find your cat.
And variety packs help ensure your cat always has a fun toy.
Cats like toys that are light and small enough to be whacked without a lot of effort. They also enjoy toys that are small enough to be grasped. And their favorite toys are objects they can engage with in numerous different ways.
When you are searching for toys for your cat, you need to make sure they do not have any strings that could be pulled off and swallowed. They need to be large enough that your cat won't try to eat them. They must be made from non-toxic materials. Small button eyes and button noses are cute, but anything that can be bitten off and swallowed is risky for your cat. Cats of all ages can be injured by toys with sharp points and edges. At Woof Gang Bakery & Grooming Clermont, we only supply toys that are safe for your cat.

Took my doodle puppy in for her first grooming with Veronica and it went great! My dog left happy and I love the haircut!
My dogs are not completely introverted but they take time to trust others, especially groomers. But Vincent is one of the best groomers I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. Even though it was a simple nail clipping, my furry babies were completely comfortable with him. You can tell he cares for the animals and the cherry on top was seeing my baby boy with a cute collar Vincent put on him. I highly recommend this place.
The groomer is great… My dog loved him!!
Excellent care for our GoldenDoodle and did a FANTASTIC job! We’ve been taking him here since he was a baby and will recommend Vincent all day.
I came in with a 7 month old German Shepherd who was so scarred she didn’t want to leave between my legs.. Vincent came out and introduced himself and was so great she immediately warmed up to him and I was comfortable enough to leave her in his care. When I picked her up she was happy as could be! Full bath and nails trimmed. Before we walked out the door she ran back to him and acted like they were best friends! Highly recommend and will definitely go back to him!
